Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!

What an amazing place! I didn't know what to expect but what an amazing experience we are having over here. David Roberts of Kiwi Scraps is the most amazing host and all the students here have been so much fun!

Adjusting to time has been easy for me, slept most of the way from L.A. to Auckland - the hardest part was the Auckland to Sydney flight, which was only 3.5 hours. I took some Melatonin and it definitely works for me - you can find it in your health food store. I bought mine in liquid form and it puts me right out and I wake up very refreshed.

The first day Kayce and I spent most of the day in downtown Sydney - seeing the Opera House in front of me was a total rush. It is so BIG!

The second day Kayce and I traveled out to Bondi Beach area. We were able to see an event called Sculptures by the Sea. We walked from Bronte Beach to Bondi Beach looking at some great modern art. This was one of my favorites

Found a Crumpler store in Bondi and some other amazing independent fashion stores. Another treat in Australia is really good coffee - in particular Cappucinnos, love that european influence of serving good coffee.

And a trip to Sydney wouldn't be complete with a Sydney Bridge climb. Yes Kayce and I made it!! I was pretty freaked out for the first 15 minutes, but the arch part was the easiest and the best. Being on top of that bridge was incredible! Will post the pictures we bought when I get back because we did it at night - with an amazing fireworks display! This picture will show you the bridge and that is a cruise liner in front of it.
