Detox Day Six

It started out as a very good day on the detox plan...then I just couldn't get enough energy to get going. Here is how it played out:
  • Morning lemon water
  • herbal tea
  • upstairs to ride the bike for 30 minutes (loved this!)
  • Mango Almond Milk smoothie
  • cocount water
  • NO ENERGY... hit a wall
  • Lunch: Steak burrito bowl at Chipotle
  • Feeling much better - lots of energy!
  • Tonight I will get back on detox plan and have some soup.

Before lunch I just didn't have anything in me - I couldn't concentrate and had no energy. So I just needed something with substance and I chose the best thing I could without having to make something, like chicken again!

I have been reading about various detox plans and it is common for your body to go into what they call 'shock' and you experience flu like symptoms. I also know now that your body at some level needs protein and not always in the liquid form.

With a big PR meeting tomorrow, I cannot experience the total shut down that I had today. So I may have to do something differently for breakfast. Kind of bummed since I have just one more day on the plan. I am planning on weighing in on Wednesday so stay tuned for that post.
