End of Detox Day Two

I should recap the end of day one...I was pretty sluggish by the end of the day. In fact so sluggish I almost fell asleep at my desk at 8 pm, so it was off to bed I went. Then I didn't get up until 7:45!! Which I was bummed about because I missed yoga and after my training session on Weds I really needed to go to yoga. Luckily I was able to squeeze a lunchtime session in.

Back to my recap - sluggish. I wanted to do what Selby was doing in the picture above! In talking with Kayce she made a good point that I have cut my caffeine intake to ZERO. I usually have two cups of tea with caffeine in the morning. Amazing how our bodies become so dependent on something like that. I was also starting to crave something substantial to eat. Something that you could sink your teeth into...

Today I started out the same as yesterday but for lunch I had
  • plain chicken breast that I grilled with steamed spinach. That really satisfied my craving for "substantial".
  • Then for dinner I had the leftover Broccoli and Arugula soup, but I added some spinach and arugula to it.
  • Also it wasn't on the menu but I had a small side of albacore tuna. I was really craving saltine crackers - but I resisted!
Tomorrow I am looking forward to having oatmeal for breakfast!
